Not sure where the author got his numbers from but if you read the full article, the author notes that the numbers/percentages themselves can be misleading, because that 3.1% could include the security guard who swipes your badge or so

Lots of decent advise here already...be wary of a complicated (fancy product) approach and security theater....frankly when it comes to secret management the KISS principle should apply, with the caveat that it should be secure of course.

Maybe we got lucky with the configuration but we use the approach documented for the keycloak-saml-adapter with Jetty as the app server. There is still a lot work done to ensure keys are generated in the proper locations and that necessary

I am looking at this and thinking, how many times would a typical user need this? I occasionally find myself needing to manipulate excel documents but not enough to want to invest in dedicated software. Is this meant to support ETL workflow

Maybe you should regroup and try to make this your next startup? As alluded to by some of the comments, this was probably a misguided effort for the original startup but could be worth pursuing by itself. I believe this is how the likes of
