Git's commits are immutable (their identity is an hash signature of their content, they can't be changed), what you want are non-removable commits, ie forbidding the user from moving refs to a commit that isn't a descendant of the current c

To be fair in 2007 leopard's spotlight implemented the 20% of quicksilver's features that most users used 80% of the time. You probably were a quicksilver poweruser, but I don't think there were many of you.

Dagdum has been harping on this concept for over a year at this point: "don't waste time talking about your tools, you can do amazing things with everything, go do them". It's a platitude, sometimes it's even the wrong mindset to have, tool

Because trans-bmp characters are very rare (think less than 1/10000000) and unless you work with specific corpora you may never come across them.

I think that with 'anorexia' they are referring to pro-ana websites ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro-anorexia ). Maybe websites promoting suicide also exist? I don't know.

7% of Greeks voted for a party under the slogan "so we can rid this land of filth", here is their flag: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Meandros_flag.svg I wouldn't be so optimist.

At the moment I agree. But if the recession continues for a few more years I'm not so sure, in Greece extreme right parties are already picking up steam.

They are there, they have been there for over ten years, much code exists that needs them to be there. You can't take them out of the language. More syntax sugar for them would be good, adding first class functions IMHO isn't good.

I'd rather they didn't. It would be redundant with inner classes that are already there, I don't like this piling up of features. It would be more interesting if they allowed inner classes to close over non-final variables.
