Is it so important? I think this made the community and game world more interesting. It's emergent behavior. As a game developer, I hope I can make things complicated enough to have emergent behavior, even if that's just from m

Why does weighted randomness seem so difficult for games? Are there any libraries that simplify this? I couldn't find any for JS. So I created my own "algorithms" for things like randomly choosing which type of plants spawn

They don't really make them anymore, but you can still get m.2 form factor Intel Optane SSDs in the 900/905P series, example[0]. They have insane endurance specs. Their performance is also still awesome, especially for random re

Same experience. I have turned $100k-300k contracting projects into multimillion dollar successes in a short time. But those ones had a good business plan, and were hands-off on technical matters because they were semi-technical themsel

I looove this. I agree with the other commenters that this has a special feeling. And that the future for web games is bright. (For as long as Google is spearheading features with Chrome.) I guarantee this game wasn't built with Uni

I'm more worried about PFAS in pizza packaging [0]. It's used to make papers more water-resistant. Including some pizza boxes, or the paper they put between the pizza and the box. My favorite places use thin aluminum foil instea

I finally got a chance to try this, and I'm impressed. I love the interactive examples right on the site. I'm coming from Mermaid[0], which falls more under 'pure diagramming', where as this is...systems diagramming.

I think it's a funny example of great UI discoverability still having failures. I say great because having the tilt keys adjacent to the paddle keys seems like a setup for accidentally hitting tilt in a moment of heat, thereby leading

I liked your original comment, not because I agreed or disagreed with the utilitarian angle, but because it raised the most interesting emotional aspect of this story. Thanks for making it.
