It was very much seen that way back in the day at Birmingham University. We wrote an x11 window manager with audio and graphics processor apps for our first term in 2nd year. I saw academia start to go down the pan at college with the intro

I guess we'll never know the monumental contribution women made during WW2 at Bletchley. Respect.

We have one of these and the lowest setting is completely unobtrusive. I'd highly recommend it (plus make your bedroom device free). That should transform your sleeping habits.

Sounds like this is an experiment to me - the first step towards a hybrid OS. Do they want to try and eat into the OSX/development stack in an effort to make windows relevant to that market? Or is there a bigger picture here where they

I had the same experience. It was really hard to get a react/redux project started without a swathe of modules and build systems. It became a mission just trying to set it all up and Babel was a part of that. There appears to be no way

The post install script can be like any other script the user can run. There's no sandboxing so it can access anything the running user can access. So essentially, yes, it could infect any other module in there. I believe it could even

When I was at Bletchley 4 years ago, we were told all about the Polish mathematicians. There's even a statue/tribute to them there.

I used to use this on windows back in the day, but since moving to Linux I've been using webstorm's inbuilt git support. It works exceptionally well, but visualisation of the commit tree would be good.

I exclusively do remote work yet have found myself renting an office (funnily enough not far from the harbour bridge) so I'm not at home getting cabin fever. I was amazed at how much you miss out on little things like human interaction
