It doesn't seem like they are actually targetting "extremists" since islamist sharia groups get to stay on facebook while all groups opposing such a movement gets shutdown instantly.

I kind of agree with you for people who already have verifiable experience that sideprojects are not important. For people without anything on their CV however I think it can be a good idea. I have been on both sides as well, many times and

My biggest peeve with OS X is HFS+ and the defaults regarding case sensitivity and folder names (They are insensitive). Having OSX for developers and Linux in prod can be a bad combo as you are sometimes led to believe that the systems are

I think in most cases the threat is not about the authors bad intentions. Take Guzzle as an example, it recently had a very serious flaw that allowed anyone to set a custom proxy for all HTTP requests using it, this could of course be used
