Boston also has lower mobility for tech workers, because in California non-competes are unenforceable but in Massachusetts they are.

Small correction - AESTHETIC (e.g. Fullwidth unicode latin caps) would be more canonical. I believe it's intended to evoke use of fullwidth romaji in Japanese as a bit of a play on Japanese use of english words to sound cool.

Forgive my ignorance but I have a few questions: * Why would HSTS help in this case? While HSTS is active, does it prevent clicking through the warning (which was done here)? * How would a CAA record help against cert issuance in this case?

IPv4 address utilization is incredibly low. For example, consider 44.0.0.0/8 - it's sitting around almost entirely unallocated. UCSD Caida uses it for their network telescope (pretending to use it for amateur radio) and won't

In my mind I actually separate it into three (from Google): - The specs/docs for building AMP pages, which can be found on www.ampproject.org - note that, a lot of these are non-free, like standardized components for specific media

Yep. This is what I did. Also, I just used the email address for my phone's SMS. I'm not sure why you need Twilio for this, seems like over kill to me.

Does it? I have a Fitbit and have only figured out how to configure a constant-time alarm. I know it tracks my sleep, but can I set a smart alarm? I'm pretty sure it can't.

I found this article confusing. It doesn't really say anything about what "Espresso" actually does, let alone how it does it.

To clarify: this is OS X (MacOS 10)? What version/release? As far as I can tell it doesn't explicitly state anywhere in the README, let alone title.

These problems are really hairy. Thankfully, all the privacy issues are only one-bit leakages (and there are TONS of one-bit leakages in web browsers), but the CSP bypass with SRI attack is really cool. One thing that I've found incred

Hmm... This seems more like XML parsing to me than HTML parsing - in particular, there's no handling of (completely valid) omitted end tags. Definitely interesting though.

Please don't remove downloads of .torrent files. If you don't have this it's impossible to know what files are in the torrent (or even how big they are!) without connecting to the swarm and relying on BEP 009 (Metadata exchan

Magnet links are perfectly fine for popular content, but because of the dependency on BEP 009 (Metadata exchange) for very long tail content it's often better to get the torrent file directly. For example, to get information about torr

It seems to me it should be a) reasonable for gitpay to offer a way to 'opt out' if you don't want your information there anymore, even if they're not legally required to. b) fine to let the gitpay folks wait to add that

Note that threading is not the only place this can happen: this can happen as the result of signal handlers as well. cpython has can trigger signal handlers between any python opcodes.
