My only strategy to working is just to sit there and fucking work. It's not very difficult. You sort of just tell yourself you're going to do something and then you do it. Boom, saved this entire community a blog post.

I thought this too. Then I entered a job and interviewed 100~ candidates. There is absolutely such a shortage, and this isn't even for anything complex, this was just for a frontend position. I genuinely had to ask a few candidates if

The thing is I'm not just frontend. I build product from A-Z. I can ideate it, build a strategy, a business plan, mock it, design it, code it, deploy it, market it. What role should I be looking for? I'm great at stepping back and

Why don't I strap on my job helmet, and squeeze down into a job cannon, and fire off into job land where $150k salaries are just ripe for the picking. I'm trying to find a kick ass salary, I'm great at what I do, but the onl

The fuck? We're programmers. We have the easiest lives of the working class. I'm literally sitting here in my underwear, unshaven, drinking a beer, making stupid money for coding objectively pointless crap much like 99% of us. I

You're not getting the point. To me, when I read this words, it paints a very nice picture. I picture someone volunteering to take out waste, use zero emission transportation, and then help out a local farmer. I like that, a lot.

Netflix doesn't have a fraction of the available media out there. I can't find 90% of the movies I want to watch on Netflix. On any region. You can't use Netflix interchangeably with P2P, they aren't the same thing.
