The worst thing is that it is possible to correct areas of an AI generated image that are bad or inconsistent. That wasn't even done at all. Examples of bad areas include the Menu Bar superhero (garbled text), and the keyboards (some

Because you're way deep down the call stack in some function that happened to take in a pointer, far far away from the code that opened the file.

Using mmap means that you need to be able to handle memory access exceptions when a disk read or write fails. Examples of disk access that fails includes reading from a file on a Wifi network drive, a USB device with a cable that suddenly

One other thing to compare it against is actual tiny JPEGs. When you save a series of images as 16x16 JPEGs at the same JPEG quality level without optimization, you notice that there is a whole lot of common data between those files. Commo

I've seen the alternative where you make a tiny JPEG file (discarding the huffman and quantization tables), and use that as the placeholder. Just glue the header and tables back on, and let the browser handle JPEG decoding and stretch

I've run an AI translation tool under a debugger just to see what it did. It tokenized your input, fed it into a model, then ran the model. Literally the same thing as any other local AI software. Except the model was for translation

The best optimization is to know how big the array will be before you add any elements at all. Use Reserve. Then you completely avoid any intermediate arrays and copying. And in the case of C++, you avoid mass copy construction for class

The one thing that really benefits from using NT Native API over Win32 is listing files in a directory. You get to use a 64KB buffer to get directory listing results, while Win32 just does the one at a time. 64KB buffer size means fewer s
