At some point AI might get good enough to write whatever is missing from that thing. Seems like they have the ability to wait it out.

I've been having good results lately/finally with Opus 4.5 in Cursor. It still isn't one-shotting my entire task, but the 90% of the way it gets me is pretty close to what I wanted, which is better than in the past. I feel mo

If they design the chip it is theirs. If you are saying fabs then nearly nobody has their own chips. But they plan to make fabs too.

This was your chance to provide the evidence to your claims. It is conjecture what you have provided. Waymo requires the remote operator make decisions often, such as at uncontrolled intersections when the lights go out, as shown in SF. Jus

The safety driver is the remote operator that makes decisions for things as basic as uncontrolled intersections.

Optimus is early days, and my take isn't against remote operators but pointing out that Waymo relies on them much more than Tesla. You can go from 1 side of the country to the other without ever touching the wheel, something Waymo coul

I can't tell if this was suppose to be for me, I am not Darren. The reply was on my thread... My replies are at the same level as that which I respond to, never aggressive IMO. And if you "knew" something about the relevant t

Would be nice if you had been able to take it on, but as you say you don't have the data, so it's compared to nothing.

Any claims I care to learn about I would like evidence. Only anti-Tesla folks seem to be lacking it.

But I told you it wasn't without drivers, so where is the response there or acknowledgment of the fact they all went down?

We being who? What is your evidence it's better? The fact all the cars stopped moving when the power went out? The fact they cost WayMore? Show the evidence for your claims. And they have remote operators as proven by the power outage.

Show the proof then with links to unbias articles and the numbers/math.

Show the cost differences and do the math then come back to us before you can suggest what decisions were ill timed. Otherwise it's just armchair engineering.

I agree about those facts that the companies themselves posted. But for journalism to occur my hope would be the author needs to find out what that means for Tesla instead of speculating. Perhaps if it was posted as an opinion piece.

The only fact was about the contract which is like a sentence of the article. Then it goes into a guessing game on what it could mean, with the most negative spin possible.
