Isn't that what the Twitter founder is making with Blue Sky? An RSS feed, but for social media.

You have to stop using them and let them charge. Unless they release a proprietary charging cable that is. They also do not list the battery life anywhere, which is a red flag to me.

Controllers do full on inside out tracking, each controller being equipped with a snapdragon 662. They also do not list the battery life anywhere, which is the biggest red flag.

These use integrated batteries and does full on inside out tracking on each controller, each controller having its own snapdragon 662. They also do not list how long the controllers last, not found any source mentioning that yet, which is a

But because of its 1-2 hour battery life you would have to keep it wired and hope it doesn't suffer from the same issue that Quest 2 suffers from where even wired it slowly looses battery life. However, the Quest 2 could still last a w

For some reason CGNAT seems to be the norm here in Sweden, IPv6 is still almost nowhere to be seen, only existing in a select few cities. I've been behind CGNAT since I think 2010, at first with DSL with a small ISP and then with one o

Well, all they would need is a gyro (because it doesn't seem to have cameras), it wouldn't be as good 6dof, but better than fixed.

> And it will have no adult VR content. With the new EU rules there would be nothing stopping anyone from viewing such stuff, because to my understanding those rules apply universally to the company, not just to individual products.

Ok, but legally you aren't allowed to do that. Also why is it safer? To me a predictable speed would be safer.

I have to imagine that this is just because you cannot pay someone to be to truly passionate about what they are doing. And the VRChat devs actually play their own game, I find it highly unlikely that you could even remotely say the same ab

More immersive social VR. Personally really looking forward to this because "the eyes are a mirror to the soul" is very apparent when you see well made avatars with eye tracking. The possibility of dynamic foveated rendering, whic

Roblox is marketed towards kids who either doesn't know any better or cannot do anything about it. Also, why is it ok for Roblox to have such high rates in the first place?

Depends on who you ask, but it is kinda worse than the alpha, far lesser scope. Gameplay loop is defined though and it is definitely more finished than the alpha, but there are some very annoying game design choices and it is very repetitiv

With how pretty much every platform has "avatars", that the user can customize, I think it would be fun just getting one assigned to you. Edit: Huh, I got an alien house. Reminds me of some game.

Primarily just because I couldn't use my VR headset then (Quest 2). The volunteers behind ALVR are working on it. However, when something like ALVR works on Linux and SteamOS 3.0 releases universally I I'll at least make a partiti

800p screen does not do well with small text. I would certainly not want to play a word heavy game like Disco Elysium without text scaling.

Depends a lot on components, for example, the Steam Deck only has 4 physical cores, a laptop might have more and that is ignoring if you have a different architecture than Zen 2. You can do a lot to optimize the battery life on a Steam Deck

Yes, it just isn't a competitor to the Switch. I do not get the reasoning of those that say that. The Steam Deck is like a Switch Pro, but not in the usual way the Pro naming is used, it is just more complex and for people who know wha

Got a Steam Deck (not only a flex, it is to give context to my answers) - I do wish I could take of the sides and plop the screen down like a Switch, mostly because it is cool. And it is less of a complete package without a dock, but if you

Genuinely curious, what happens if the country instead firewalls/cuts off their internet from the outside world, how does Crypto handle that? Because that is essentially what has happened now with the SWIFT sanctions.

It definitely takes time to learn, but a few months of regular use and I believe I could get just as good with my steam controller/Steam Deck as with a mouse. However, I am certainly not a great fps player so the needed skill to catch

That is where the trackpads come in, with a bit of practice they can replace the need for a mouse in any game, be it strategy or fps. Replacing the keyboard isn't as easy though.
