That's not accurate. From the S3 management console user guide[1]: > You can delete an empty bucket, and when you're using the AWS Management Console, you can delete a bucket that contains objects. If you delete a bucket that c

The past couple of days I took a deeper look into the RAM usage of Android Studio as I had my fair share of problems with it. I'm not sure what the 3GB you mentioned include, but I made the following observations: - Android Studio itse

What's really a shame is that with each new version of LineageOS a lot of devices are dropped from being supported. I have some perfectly functioning devices (including a 2014 flagship device from Samsung), which will very likely stay

As long as Thunderbolt is enabled. If I'm not mistaken disabling Thunderbolt completely should be a viable workaround. It's essentially the same situation we had with Firewire: Just blacklist the driver and all should be good. As

Back then we already had the bucket for a few years and the person who set it up probably didn't think about the implications and simply chose to use the AWS-provided bucket URL. And that person isn't alone. If you look around, yo

S3 traffic cost is a funny topic. I remember ~3 years ago we had an issue with AWS, where they kept charging us for web traffic to an S3 bucket we deleted. When we complained, their response was like: Well, then stop sending traffic to that

As usual with such benchmarks, I miss performance comparisons over time. Did Fargate outperform the other two solutions because it's generally faster or because API Gateway was just slow during the few minutes that benchmark took? What

Is that really the case? So far all companies I worked for had a wave-like pattern for customer generated workloads, simply because of the locality of the customers. It doesn't even matter if it's a globally used product, as some

On the MacBook Pro 2016 and 2017 they weren't completely identical, as the TB3 ports on the right side only provided 20Gbit/s instead of the "full" 40Gbit/s. Check out https://www.macrumors.com/2016&

I'm wondering what would happen if you'd send a GDPR request for deletion of personal data to such a DNA sequencing company. While you might not have sent them any of your DNA, relatives of you might have sent them theirs. Since D

As far as I know there is no upper limit of requests for DynamoDB. There is a default limit of 40.000 requests per second for provisioned capacity as well as for on-demand capacity, but you can get that increased upon request. See https:&#
