There is a fourth control of course which comes into play when nothing else will give room: quality. You can take many shortcuts to deliver in time, full scope, with the resources available. But the result will be buggy and/or unmainta

Juniper has offices and partners all over EU, for example in Paris [0]. Similar to Extreme [1]. I don't know what problems you encountered in France, but I can assure you both of them are very well represented across the whole EU, even

For example detecting where the device is and adjusting the current in separate coils accordingly? I don't buy the explanation that this is about interferences. It doesn't seem like an insurmountable problem to me.

(I didn't downvote you FWIW) The difference here is that the incentives of workers and this company are aligned. Either workers start making some serious wages and the company gets their money back (with interest), or both lose - worke

Interestingly enough, I have seen gas stations very close to each other with very different prices. This was close to an airport so I assume the idea is to rip off tourists who don't have time to search for cheapest fuel before retur

This sounds.. awful. I'm sure there are reasons, but hiding information this way makes you seem incompetent and unsure of yourself (you as Amazon, not you personally) in my eyes. Edit: I assume you are speaking as employee of Amazon o

Iiuc the requirement holds only for the merchant and is similar to requirements of many credit card payment processors about holding a bank account with their chosen bank. The reason is probably the same (transaction costs).

That's a big "if" though, only a very small percentage of people can do that. And of those that can, do you want to? If someone solves this problem nicely, why invent your own solution? There are many other problems that are

Thank you for taking the time to explain. Also the fact that a total stranger to this code (like me) can even reason about it, is incredible. My point was not so much that there is a bug, but more that the assumptions that this function mak

A bit OT, but honest question: would it bother you if it was almost-open-source, that is, if license forbid leechers (other cloud providers selling competitive offering)? I am thinking of releasing a product under Apache + Common Clause, Ze
