In high school I had a sweet apartment and great food and I got by on a minimum wage part-time job which truth be told was mostly funding luxuries. Everyone should just stay do that, find some parents to live with and retire.

Currency is a bit different from equity. Currency is a medium of exchange designed to smooth the trade of actually valuable things, not a store of value itself. A company is a (dynamic) store of value, that is supposed to generate valuable
