I am in awe of many resources you are sharing here now but my question is how they are going to monetise their effort? Some of these are run on a volunteering basis and while it is good for the community, I am not sure it is healthy and sus

Efficiency certification going to be regulated pretty soon for safe flight permit so this would open a pretty big market for services, training of certificators and our novel universal efficiency benchmark, we think.

You're right, of course. My point is literary grade is not an invariant, it changes with time and culture and the historical events of a given community. There are so many cases of artists being considered shit one period, good another

Can't really agree, literature is literature because of form not content, every literary work is its own separate world with references to other similarly separate worlds from the past. Data analysis can help finding invariants, like i

Progress in this field is astonishing and it really propagates to the masses in the form of easy-to-use black boxes with a pinch of undergraduate-level maths. Just wow!

It was not elitism my constructive point but this: "Unpopular as it may be, the latest tools come pretty good as black boxes, so that creativity is shifted from maths to application domains." There are several tech fields and all

Nevertheless, 80/20 (80% solution in 20% time) does wonders with the right set of tools and a rudimentary appreciation of applied maths, 80/20 being often what businesses really need. Unpopular as it may be, the latest tools come

Talking arty, literary novels are form more than content, so why self-publish a literary novel if form is strong enough?

As an EU cit who left five years ago, working through short gigs and remote consultancy made me appreciate their persoective but also think that we are all going for a bumpy road and united might be better than alone.

We can still have a local branch run by trusted collaborators in the US while keeping HQ elsewhere. Same for UK from Europe after Brexit. Relocating in person is not the only option.

I think 2017 is time to start finding out the degeneration of this uber-capitalist model. A portfolio of on-call collaborations paying peanuts without any workers right does not make a job and is not safe for customers. Please stop defendin

Most times there is not a market for a decent ROI and unfortunately there will never be, it would really cost too much terraforming your niche.
