Just the state tax credits alone amount for ~$219k per "job". How much money does a Foxconn worker need to make for how long to make up $219k in tax payments? Seems pretty damn silly to me to pay a company to come here from China,

You can upload the .zsync file to anywhere Apache, Nginx, etc., can read, and it all just works. You don't need a plugin, you don't need to change your httpd.conf, ...

I agree on the speed side of things... but see my reply to the other comment. TL;DR; Buffer or not, mutations are necessary to be visible as part of script execution, which precludes "only write at the end on success".

The problem is: when you are mutating the structures as part of the script, and you are accessing the results of those mutations, you can't just "apply them at the successful termination of the script". The successful termi

The existing implementation is a proof of concept. It works as advertised, but any key that is written to as part of script execution gets dumped using the same internals that the DUMP command uses. For a handful of small keys, where EVALTX

It is actually for the earlier list. The best-case scenario in existing Redis is that you can force the script to exit early with partial errors, unless you are explicitly keeping your own operational log (because Redis doesn't). The p

I think that you have misread/misinterpreted what Frondo has said. Frondo said, "The X doesn't do Y, which is why they are still X." You say/interpret Frondo as saying, "The X doesn't do Y because they a

Having stored money values in Redis several times in the past (sometimes without replicas at all!), the answer is knowing how much you can trust the system. I trust enough to get the job done, but not enough to get bitten when these syste

That "old medical myth" has studies as recent as 2011/2012 showing that consumption of over 400 micrograms/daily of Iodine can cause subclinical hypothroidism [1]. That study needs to be confirmed, but given current reco
