Those cards use euro/usd under the hood, so you don't actually send crypto to whoever you buy things from. They get euro/usd.

And if Pfizer fucked up the covid-19 vaccine, one of 20 other alternatives would gladly inform the public and remove a competitor from the market. That's the great thing about having so many alternatives for the covid-19 vaccine, all o

Actually the long term risk of the covid-19 vaccines is well understood. You will not get a side effect from the vaccines in a year from now. For all of the vaccines created for any disease, the longest recorded period between taking the va

One of the things I really miss in more business focused apps is the radio style push to talk. It is so much more intuitive than muting.

Voice chat. It is superior to any other platform on this aspect other than TeamSpeak. We regularly have 40+ people in voice channels without people suffering from connection issues, bad audio quality, and lot's of noise.

It is super easy with dotnet core. The new CLI is pretty simple, you use it as a package manager and compiler. Visual Studio also uses the CLI to run and debug dotnet core projects. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotn

Because the markets wants to trade on it. Going with the assumption that crypto will "succeed" in the future, any business or bank not trading on it would be loosing out to businesses that are capable to do both.

It would be solved in the same way those problems are solved today, through court. Not following court orders ultimately leads to enforcement through force. You'd end up arrested and jailed at some point. >> If we are not a bitco

For me the usefulness of a ORM depends a lot on the language I'm working with. In the .NET world the choice is easy, Linq and EntityFramework is a killer combination. It's so much faster, and better than writing your own queries.

They don't just start encrypting stuff as soon as they have a foothold. They spend some time on your network siphoning out valuable data, compromise backups, and staging for re-entry.

It sucks for the people who got their personal information caught up in this. They do more than just encrypt your files, they typically siphon as much data as possible from the companies before they execute the ransom part.

No password managers really help in this scenario, as the attackers have access to the machine the client runs on. Any malware will simply wait untill you unlock it, and then siphon out any credentials.

The gist of it is gathering credentials from the initialy compromised machines, and using them to access other computers on the network. A lot of this is possible because of the way Windows handles authentication between computers. Mimikatz

CAPTCHA is typically one of several defences, and you underestimate the cost they cause attackers. One of the main problems for an attacker is not really the dollar cost of buying a CAPTCHA solver, the real inconvenience is really the time
