I agree completely. People need to be able to come together, with disagreeing being the starting point, and not attack each other's groups and views. That would allow for necessary communication to come to agreement, or at least civi

Wow, you've put some good thought into this. Being able to say "I could use help taking down a tree" would be great - signing up and attending an event is one thing (meetup.com), but hard to do if you're down. But actu

I've been on Reddit and seen how many people are truely lonely. If this app could reach critical mass, it could have a hugely positive effect on thousands (millions?) of lives. I hope you (or someone) will do it. I'm not lonely

Well, you likely won't have a job, so won't need to worry about going into the office. Sounds a little different when applied personally doesn't it?

Business and entrepeneurship are a means to an end. Life is about relationships with people you love. Although trite, it's very true that nobody on their death bed wishes they spent more time at the office.

I guess I don't understand. I thought the idea of a distributed ledger was everyone could confirm everything. Maybe my mistake is thinking distributed ledger and blockchain are the same thing?

How does that realistically work? Imagine hundreds of thousands of servers publishing their logs to a block chain, which has to be synced around the world and stored on the many thousands of participating computers. Sounds like the very de

I hope this helps the politicians realize encryption back doors can never be made safe. If even the NSA can't keep their top secret tools safe, generic 'law enforcement' surely won't be able to either.

Even with open source you don't know what you're putting on your device matches the source code (unless you're part of the 0.00001% that would compile their own mobile apps).

That's a very interesting view. Large cities are generally more liberal. I've always thought they attracted liberal minded people, as opposed to people becoming liberal from living there. Why do you think the opposite?
