Is "extremely greasy and nasty looking" just a self evaluation or is it shared by others? It could be that it just violates your self image and because of that you are repelled by it.

One problem with this is the number of thugs in city and town police forces. They aren't going to give up their bully franchises easily.

These Moto phones would be great vehicles for getting people to try Ubuntu Touch. Why do they only provide images for the most expensive possibilities?

Beats 'phones could be a recognizable and elegant adjunct to a headworn VR device if Apple has any plans in that area. I'd be rather surprised if they didn't and see this as a pretty clear indicator we'll see them enter

Thanks. [3] is essentially the outline of the first course I took from him. It didn't occur me that SRT division might have any recent relevance, ancient history and all that, but Google tells me that the Pentium floating point bug was

I wish I could find the part written by J.E. Robertson. I took several graduate level courses from him as an undergraduate in the mid '60s. He became the world expert on division. He found that if you recoded to the redundant base -

It says 27 subjects experienced induced lucid dreaming. How many didn't? If the rate is anywhere near 100% and the experimental setup description can be obtained there will be DIY boxes galore to do this and soon. Does anybody know w

Has anyone looked to see if Beats might have an interesting patent portfolio? Something perhaps to augment Apple's recently granted patent on bioinformatic earphones?

As much as I dislike the impact this could have I must say that designing a clean, orthogonal, complete API can take longer than actually implementing it. A properly thought out API will dictate the implementation and strongly optimize it.

Other than the spiral flexures that NASA uses this seems to be rather unique in that shock is absorbed in two dimensions rather than one. No matter from what direction jerk is applied the wheel will absorb it in the same or a similar direc

A real sleeper in headphone market is the $33 Philips SHL9705A-28. They are as comfortable as anything on-ear that I have listened to and better sounding than most of the high-end devices. They put the ATH-M50 to shame. The AKG-K702, not

I have never been able to get HD in a browser on my PC with "free" Instant Prime. I cancelled Prime because of all the obscure restrictions on streaming Instant Prime. What are you doing to get HD from Instant Prime?

Do your due diligence well. Amazon does an amazing job of obscuring what Instant Prime is available on leaving an easy impression that it is when it isn't. No Tivo, for example, but they make it all too easy to misunderstand that.
