Besides who here actually goes to google to search for something? The people who this would be aimed at use things like the chrome url bar, firefox searchbar, or firefox search keywords. Much more efficient.

At work, I have to restart my computer at least once a week. I'm not sure if it is Windows XP's fault or if it is another program I run. All I know is that after about a week the computer grinds to a halt, taking way too long to do anything

The last I heard is that Uzbl is currently unix-only. It is very possible that it will eventually become portable, or at the very least work under cygwin.

There is a difference between email space and storing files. It is hard work to store lots of emails. Particularly when gmail has a limit on size of attachments. Data storage, easy to abuse.

I always figured since the last one was "Lepord" this one was called "Snow" + "Lepord" to say it's the same cat, with some minor changes. Thus near-same name.

For vimperator users you can use marks: 'M<a-z>' where <a-z> is the letter you want, to set the mark. Then: 'go<a-z>' to open in the current tab. 'gn<a-z>' for a new tab.

The amount of work I do is largely dependent on the number of projects our boss has for us to work on that day. So I can range from actually having work to do for 10 hours straight to having maybe a half hour of real work in the day to do.

I call your bluff. 'iotop' may be included in many linux distro's but don't say every. My Arch box doesn't have it, not by default anyway. edit: What I'm trying to say, is that your statement is overly broad. Not all linux distro's have 'io

"SL,UT" also known as Salt Lake, Utah. Intresting factoid: That is a relatively popular sticker on cars of females.

GM requires the use of IE6, or it at least did when my father last worked there (about a year and a half, two years ago). It could have changed by now but considering they were just moving from 95 to 98 when he left I doubt it.

I already using Unison to sync my music between my various computers. I would much rather have a usb device that I can just use with unison then have to add another program to my computer-use-flow.

Look the idea's are really simple. You just have to do it better, faster and cheaper. It might be simple but that doesn't mean its easy. Hard work is what it comes down to.

I'm impressed. Just went and bought it on my xbox, (400 points so about $5). Built a world or two, it took a bit of practice getting the controls down but then it was pretty fun. Some options are hidden in what I would consider weird places

Someone should also mention that 'public domain' != free to use. Many countries don't recognize the public domain which means that many projects wont touch code in it. They would much rather have BSD or GPL code.
