I highly recommend all of CGP's videos. They are all fun and very informative. I just started listening to his podcast "Hello Internet" which is also enjoyable.

Your capitalization is incorrect. You wrote TB (terrabyte) when you meant Tb (terrabit). This equates to a 8x difference.

Consul actually uses serf for communicating between edge nodes. The central servers (think your zookeeper cluster) use their own implementation of Raft for internal communication.

Slightly off topic but look into witch ( http://manytricks.com/witch/ ) for better OSX window switching. I have alt+tab configured to switch between windows on the current desktop that aren't hidden.

I've had to use reflect due to missing functions in an upstream API. We could have forked the upstream package or used reflect in one function. We decided to put in a patch and use reflect until it is accepted.

This is 100% a non-issue in go. gofmt will automatically make all of your code look just like how everyone else writes it. In addition most editors have plugins for automatic gofmt on save.

We are playing around with Zesty (from ZeroCater) at the moment. Restaurants that were bottom of the barrel with ZeroCater turned out to not be bad at all when handled by Zesty. I'm not sure if this has to do with how they keep the foo
