Have you actually used Google recently? the FAQ and PAA results are what you would want to target with faq pages. FAQ's and its mark-up are about the search experience and not once the user has landed on the site eg for searches like &

You do know that search engines look for and surface a sites marked up FAQ's - by not having a FAQ your giving up that space possibly to a bad actor in the case of Government sites.

I did the college CNNA courses and one test was to fix a broken network (using real hardware). There is no substitute for hands on with real hardware.

Re Laptop make sure you have one that has a serial port and all the custom cables to plug into the switches / routers etc. (possibly having a second laptop for redundancy) And seconding the physical logbook.

I would add 15 start keeping a physical log book to document changes. Dependant on what you have to look after you might want more than one book.

That's pretty common in other countries - there's loads of Chelsea tractors (SUVS and 4wd) used on the school run in the UK for the height and perceived safety.
