I was baffled by the title, after some consideration I decided it was probably a metaphor relating to the diseased blankets given to native indians and that google was offering to help open source efforts while covertly killing them. After

The analogy I like is that traditional currencies work in the same way, the money supply is the 10,000 coins and the central bank represents the 99 people and has the 1,000,000 coins. (In practice they have an infinite amount but whatever)

Could you explain your point to me please? I agree with the premise that the current situation is unstable but I am not sure what conclusions you are drawing. (Maybe something about the morality of the gambling industry?)

From what I understand, in limited circumstances this can and does happen. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piercing_the_corporate_veil But given that I am not a lawyer I have no idea if creating a LLC for the sole purpose of isolating a pate

I don't think drawing attention to the fact the comment wasn't short sighted, merely inane will gather much more sympathy for the poster.

For this blog-post where the annotations aren't such a big deal the readability bookmarklet[1] works quite well. [1] http://readability.com/bookmarklets

I think there is a distinction between a platform's authors adding more functionality and the platform's users abusing existing functionality to make it do something it was never meant to. I would define the former as evolved and the latter

I assumed you would do the same thing as was done in the article. Create an interface and have a function that takes implementations of that interface as a parameter. The difference would be that in Java or C# you would need to explicitly m

When I was a student a lot of the houses I or my friends lived in had belkin routers/wifi access points. I don't think I encountered a single one that worked reliably, so I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you.

I am not sure how to read your question, go with goroutines does nothing that you can't do in C with p-threads because you could probably write something that would take go and output C. What go does is make some things easier, goroutines a
