As a 30 something, I have been using Discord for a few years now. Like many long-term users, I started out being a member of gaming-affiliated servers and now, I am a member of numerous technology and cryptocurrency/blockchain related

Plenty of us. While Node.js might not be talked about as much as Go or Rust is, it's battletested in my opinion and a breeze to work with. I'm currently using Node for a large-scale content platform that is comprised of an ingesti

I wanted to like Tailwind and, I tried to tolerate it for a few months. To me, it always felt like a less opinionated Bootstrap, but arguably a lot more to learn. The same approach of having to remember class names and syntax is no differen

There are a few Aussies around here, but we definitely are not the majority, haha. The Aussie startup/tech space is quite tiny, especially in Queensland where I am from. One thing Australia is good at is quality over quantity. I see yo

Precisely this. When I first started out, it was freelancer.com which eventually went down the path of molecular type tracking. It's invasive and people don't want to pay you what you're worth, but you do it for the experienc

Another happy Linode user here. They might not have the nicest interface, but their service is top notch and I much prefer their UI to Digital Ocean's any day of the week. I've been with Linode for ten years now.

If you are a developer, a static site generator is the way to go. However, the point that so many developers seem to completely miss when they decide not to choose WordPress is the end user. There might be plenty of alternatives, but there

Spot on. I am currently working on a project that has over 25,000 multisites running in WordPress Multisite. The amazing thing besides the sheer number is WordPress has not been a problem, throw it on AWS and the scaling issues are solved.

Perhaps the most embarrassing thing about Parler besides the fact it was deplatformed so easily is that it was built on WordPress. And don't get me wrong, I love and use WordPress often, but to build such a large social media platform

This is great news. The thing I can't understand is, Ellume is an Australian company and somehow, the US has approved these rapid testing kits and Australia has not. Just seems strange and backwards to me.
