Australia has the same thing. 'Unlimited' = full speed up to X gigs each month, after that you get dial-up speed only until the start of the next month. Most plans are advertised by GB/month though.

If you use your own system you're cut off from the rest of the medical universe. These systems are integrated with the pathology guys next door, the pharmacist down the road, the medical imaging center and so on. Everyone benefits from this

Cheapest, sure. But the alternatives are better devices. Their main competitor (sleeptracker) looks much more professional.

Sure sure. Sorry for the negativity but I'm super unimpressed by the whole wakemate saga. I really wanted one but being led around like this is too much for me. I won't be buying anything from this company.

There are limits to even this. For example, you may have a table referencing itself (e.g. for tree structures) and on most systems you can't cascade updates. Also if your key is used in lots of other tables the cascade will become expensive

You should use your RDBMS for that kind of stuff, all the good ones can log everything you ever wanted to know about your database queries.
