I'd caution against taking the Republican's word that they want a 'small government'. History contradicts this assertion -- the last 3 republican administrations increased the budget deficit. I think Republicans want to allocate funding d

One thing I always wondered with Backbone, since views are kept in memory, is there a performance penalty after some number of views are instantiated? If I've got a e-commerce store and a user wants to browse through 40 products, it seems l

I don't think this is going to work very well via a third party. This is something Airbnb has to offer themselves.

I thought I'd take the liberty post a comment from a user in the techcrunch comments. I'm curious to hear reaction from those more familiar with telephony than I am. <comment> PhonoSDK ( http://phono.com ) is a far superior implem

I love how this post both educates and serves as a great ad for your product. Kudos. How far along was your product when you were raising? Were you making any significant revenue at the time?

Completely offtoic from your central point, but I really dislike the word "nonplussed". It's a meaningless word without context as it can mean one thing or the complete opposite.

To be fair, he has every reason not to piss you off. I found the Caterina Fake situation peculiar at best, and the GroupMe scenario (which I'm just reading about now) is really not cool.

A few media outlets including http://twitter.com/#!/TheNextWeb have claimed this means Zynga has a $1 Billion valuation. That's not true. Zynga is RAISING $1 billion. Some of the stock will not be available on the IPO day.

I'm not a good designer by any means, but I've learned a lot by finding sites I like and just poring over their CSS to find out why they did what they did.

What would you consider a successful financial exit from the company? Reverse what you would have to sell the company for to hit that number along with 3 other cofounders (and it seems you are not a primary equity holder). IMHO, 4 persons

Any security researchers have link to a study detailing the prevalence of security lapses among a large sample of websites? I hear about these attacks, and I'd be curious to know how vulnerable the sites I visit are.

Theft from whom? Presumably the investors who paid them $41M did more due diligence and know more about the company than any of us. It's possible that this was a bad investment decision, but it certainly isn't theft.
