Philosophically? Strategically? Company employees are rejecting the alternatives. For example, SpaceX had to ban Zoom because employees kept using their own subscriptions. I agree that privacy and security are not negotiable, but unless yo

Seriously. The main argument of this article is assuming Zoom encrypts uncompressed video data. That is not what is happening here.

There is a reason Zoom has been adopted the way it has; the overall user experience, do not confuse with UI, has the least amount of friction. Zoom might not be the best in any single category, but I am glad it exists.

I am not a fan of React, but there is nothing about it that exacerbated the problems OP is talking out. The web’s layout engine is just a PITA. I also feel much more in control inside a canvas. I can do anything I want inside it. However, D

This is necessary. Is there was a way to show support for this cause as an Amazon customer? Ditching Amazon as a single individual doesn’t send a message.

Just one example: Some places in San Francisco charge their customers for a membership already. Having Yelp do this completely kills the trust your customers have in you. Yelp does not own the relationship between businesses and customers.

Wow, this is a massive oversight. What product manager thought this was a good idea without making it an opt-in? There isn't even an opt-out. 1) Owners who aren't active on Yelp may never notice this feature, and so the money is n

Not sure why you are being downvoted since your statements are correct. Few advertisers rely on user agent for ad targeting since it can be easily mocked with each HTTP request. It is used for fingerprinting, sure, but from my experience, m
