Now that's what I call a distraction from the Epstein files!

I can't say I'm surprised. If your business model is based on shipping features (and ignoring quality) then forcing staff to use LLMs makes business sense. That said this is saddening.

It's called out that some of the titles being pirated don't get sold as DVDs by Amazon. I have to wonder, how then can I legally own that media ever? if I can't as they won't sell it to me, isn't to that a problem?

It also should be on your employer to provide a compatible device (especially when it's your personal device that's not secure enough for the business)

Yeah, not gonna be sad about that. I've always wondered how well those handles stand up to consistent below freezing temps (with some snow & sleet mixed in).

I can't imagine this going well. How many government PCs are still running xp, let alone all of the other old tech that the government hasn't had the budget to replace.

I'm going disagree with you. My assets don't wake me up at 3am when they stop working....the best software is no software. My line of reasoning with an example: I own a car, and the car itself isn't the value I get from the v

If it's any consolation for the Gen X folks out there, those of us that are younger are also "feeling the pressure". It sucks.

Is there a need for selling of solutions via the package manager? Most of the software that I install that's paid asks for a license key or asks you to sign into your already paid for account.

You could contribute to the Ashai project if them not yet spending their OSS time budget on the latest m-series chip when they have a backlog is such a problem for you.

MS Teams shipped being able to edit MS office files but not .txt's. This news about Win11 breaking notepad isn't that surprising. They've been cooked for a while now.

Yeah, naw. My team ended up firing an engineer who could have been reading comics or something for the first hour or two. The guy usually showed up to meetings but didn't deliver any work for three months.

I'm not understanding the value proposition here. The benefit of a government is is that it's backed by a government. This looks like nothing more than a fan club card.
