   k8s doesn't need to solve every aspect of life. And I'm quite happy, if not by far most happy about my helm + kustomize + argocd workflow. None of it is complicated but works tremendously well.

   Helm makes sure your tags and other metadata are the same in a more complex setup. It also allows to calculate a checksum for a config map which then triggers a restart of a deployment. It allows to do a proper release do to working convent
