If fixing the bug is less work then determining exploitability, fixing it and moving on is just economical. Digging in further would only have distracted from looking for other vulnerabilities.

Wow, I did the same thing as part of my Bachelor's thesis recently. I'm glad they ran into similar issues I did, although I didn't spend much time on that part of the work. (It still got me the best results, afl is great like

The reason I got Prime in Germany (at student rates: €24/y) was free delivery without a minimum amount. Nowadays it's even free same-day delivery (when it's available).

To get a bit more into detail on this issue: In German, nouns referring to occupations generally are all gendered, where the base word is male, and the suffix "in" changes that to female. In cases of mixed groups, or where the gen

Mozilla relicensed code from 445 contributors (from MPL-only to MPL/GPL/LGPL tri-license). It took them 5 years [1]. Consider complications like finding the relatives of a dead contributor, getting them to listen to you, then to u

I thought TFA argues releasing a binary combining code under GPL 2 and CDDL 1 violates both of those licenses. But my point was: IF Oracle thinks their copyright is being violated, they wouldn't complain NOW. If they don't think s

I am confused. Are you referring to 'Transfer-Encoding: chunked'? That's obviously very useful for dynamically generated content. But what advantage does it have over a simple Content-Length header?

I don't think that Android uses those anywhere, so I would assume that most Android kernels are compiled without support for user namespaces. (The 1-2 year old Cyanogenmod kernel for Nexus 4 I had randomly lying around on this PC certa

You know how Mozilla recently had to delay the SHA1 deprecation in Firefox because it broke people behind shitty MITM "security" solutions? That crap often doesn't support any "modern" TLS features like SNI either.

FWIW Linux software RAID doesn't do that. I think the argument was that differences like this were mostly related to power loss where some disks have the new data and others the old data. And at the block layer, it's impossible to

So that's calories per mass as I suspected. Now how much does 1g of carbs affect satiety in comparison to 1g of fat? (I'm not aware of any useful studies in that regard, but I'd be very interested.)
