Funnily enough, I understood UK ATC service was provided to FIR FL245, with basic service UIR FL660.

"concept is fine, the implementation is pretty underwhelming", care to expand? I find it odd that a self-declared cloud architect hasn't used what is easily the largest growing IAAS project, free or commercial.

When security for LXC is finished, this is a perfectly reasonable option. The key in my mind is that the user shouldn't need to use or care if they are using KVM, docker/lxc or VMWare. It should be mostly abstracted by Openstack

This isn't crazy... checkpoint restart for something like this is viable.. infact, I think people are doing it.

Not to mention... 'worldview' was OK, when RHEL6 was shipped with defaulting to upstart.. But then later NIH'ing to systemd? .. Even if Ubuntu hadn't committed to switching, suggesting that Upstart is anything other than

Mark J. Cox (RH) emailed the distro's mailing list inviting anyone on this very closed list to contact Red Hat SRT asking for details. ( http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2014/04/08/10 )

Ideally it should ask for context of where you use it... gpg is logical, but ssh keys should ask for a server to check against. :)

I do not have high confidence in any bitcoin exchanges, they all seem to be held together with rubber and glue. This one could well be different... .. However, the ability to roll out even a simple change like this in such a short time, su

The article precisely says that "It is understood that Ferguson is on a short-term contract".. And the fact that she has prior top-end contracts with RM and TfL proves that she will not be there forever. It's too easy to assu

This reminds me of a game from the early 90's, called "Virus!" iirc, where you had to dig around your filesystem chasing the bad guy.

What a ridiculous comment, a non-LTS release introducing new features are one of its core features. A security issue being introduced via upstream code is not something that should be an opportunity to berate Ubuntu. The way Ubuntu respon
