Not OP, but white text on black (especially at 100% contrast) is harder to read than black text on white. Monospace is harder to read than natural-width text. Large passages of text with both features is fatiguing to read.

I'm not in the scene, but I used to love Age of Mythology - is the AoM scene as big, or as AoE2 become the sort of de facto classic Age of Empires game now?

Just to add another data point - I recently switched as well and have seen no uptick in spam at all. Could just be my emailing habits though? Not sure.

I don't know if this is a bot message or a human message, but for the purpose of furthering my point: - There is no "your" - There is no "you" - There is no "talk" (let alone "talk down") - There

I love how - just like many human "apologies" on social media platforms - the bot never actually apologised. It said it would apologise on the PR as a "next step", and then doesn't actually apologise, but links back

At the risk of calling you on a deep-cut 2-step pun from your username, I think you meant "safe haven", not "safe heaven" :-)

One of the reasons we have programming languages is they allow us to express fluently the specificity required to instruct a machine. For very large projects, are we sure that English (or other natural languages) are actually a better/

"The media" in general, sure. They often still do. My point was just that one person not doing this in an intimidating 1:1 interview doesn't make that person spineless.

Spineless seems a bit harsh. The interviewee did open with an unveiled threat of legal action against anyone who disagrees with him.

Also came to say this - I love what TFA has done, but for me everything is already stored, dated and grouped, so I was thinking I could just add Syncthing on top of that and call it a day. Doesn't solve fancy things like facial recogni

You're getting some mild heat in sibling comments here. Jonathan Haidt's book The Anxious Generation goes into a lot of detail on this exact point about parental responsibility. There are others that touch on personal vs. societal
