They don't! The reminders exist on your browser -> however I have added a task to convert them to Google's reminders so that you can also add them to your calendar. You can track the progress of this on our roadmap :) https:&#

That is correct. However, would you think again if a little pop-up reminder told you just before you exited the app? To be fair though, I keep my email tab opened all day. I never close it!
