You don't see as much bad python code as you see bad PHP code. PHP has no entry barrier. You can just start typing and things start working. Compare that with deploying a hello word website in python, java or elixir.

It's incredibly hard to find good PHP developers. I just inherited a PHP project that it's a nightmare. It doesn't make any sense. It works on PHP 7.3 but the quality is worse than the old PHP 4 stuff. It is so easy to write

I've thought about that. But what's the alternative? Someone else would do it anyway and use it against you.

Except XMPP has 0 chance to succeed and be used by any serious organization. It feels to me that the author would complain about the internet because we already have ordinary mail. Just a tantrum.

You're contradicting yourself. You say I'm wrong but then you just confirm they are tech illiterate despite using it more than ever. That's worrisome. They take everything for granted. It should work because it's magic.

Gen Z are not digital natives, at least not in a tech savvy way. They might be able to type very quickly with a phone but they tend to not know technology. The more gen z I met, the more I realize they are the worst prepared generation. Sim

I have tried different diets. Nutrient dense carbohydrates, healthy fats and high protein works the best for me. According to some studies I should be fat or my muscles would grow as if I Was eating half the protein which is not the case.

I should've said they won't lose a a meaningful share of users. Most people don't care. They probably don't even notice because they only use third party software on top of Windows.

NetBeans is the best free and open source IDE, at least for PHP. It lacks some nice features and improvements that PHPStorm has, but it's pretty good overall. There are a couple things that NetBeans does better than PHPStorm, though.

I've been trying to make VSCode work like PHPStorm. I've tried a huge combination of plugins and there's no way to do it. It doesn't even come close. It's powerful but it's definitely not the same. I would go b
