Have you noticed how Loop scooters in Japan have a tiny license plate? That's because they require a license to rent and operate. That's because they are a self powered mobile vehicle. An automobile if you will. Automobiles in Jap

You'd need functional pedals, and for the electric push to be equal or lower than the human motive power.

My guess it's the perfect HN bait. Starts with a meaningful factoid. Makes grand unhinged claims. Then starts rambling about everything under the sun. If you had a preconceived topic you care about: this blog post gives you every imagi

Exit velocity is the nozzle exit speed. The water exists the nozzle and hits the turbine. With that said, turbine efficiency is not strictly based on resistance. Rather it is about extraction of energy. In a few designs it looks like resist

If you pump up the hill, say to 3000PSI, then waste pressure on the way down: you lose said wasted energy. Pumped Hydrogen Storage requires maintaining full pressure across the entire pipe. Which should be reasonable: the "fill up&quo

Daikin has a range which pulls air from the outside. I'm using it in the room I am in now. Here in Sendai the nights are cold enough that my house is coasting still. Thus the mini split is acting only as a fan and pulling in fresh air.

South Korea, Japan, China say hello. Much of the world by population and gdp is a ship ride away from their major energy suppliers. Japan imports about half their LNG from Australia. Next largest is Qatar. There are no power lines between A

You're confused, negative prices are not driven by techincal limitations. Solar, and especially hydro, and even nuclear can shut down just fine. Solar and Wind instead drive prices negative because they have subsidized contracts. Each

Did you move here three years ago? 2020-2021 was the heart of COVID deflation. I remember paying 110yen per litre for gasoline at Costco. Nic Hotels were 1万 a night for our family of three. Any anchoring off late 2020 is super misleading. M

IMHO, the "The" and "How" handling were smart decisions back during the digg era. Over time those features of clickbait have become defocused. Removing The and How handling might make sense now.

Ah you went there eh. Yeah an alternative form on my reply would have been to point out that kids are the ones who question everything. Adults learn to identify the questions which will expand knowledge, and ask those.
