7-10 days is the ideal time, which is what the original Pebble Steel was capable of. I used to charge it once a week on Monday in the office and it would easily last till the next Monday. Sadly mine died from the screen glitch issue, and

I don't read this as lack of commitment, I read this as "we want to keep a limit on the total number of active devices" - if it's free for two years then there will be a moderate percentage that always have it because th

This summarises my own experience very well. I absolutely love my kids, but parenting has been extremely tough. I really don't enjoy it, and feel like it's ruined my life too. I'm less productive both at work and at home b

There are fewer downsides to the iphone for me. That's all there is to it. If Android polished their corners a bit more and more manufacturers offered better quality handsets with stock or near-stock android, and better post-sales su

Just put the headphone jack back on it, then charge via headphone jack like the old ipod shuffles used to! Seriously though, I still miss the headphone jack :(

I think it's a matter of experimentation. I've been having Aussielent (Australian version of Soylent) for about 5 years for breakfast and still really enjoy it. I use the vanilla flavour, make it with hot water, and put a squirt

I'd check out Lithium Solar on youtube - he's got a fairly comprehensive set of videos on almost every topic regarding batteries, inverters and general setup.

Agreed, do it now. The cost of panels in Australia is already going up due to supply issues thanks to covid, and I don't think you'll see prices come down again for a few years even with that investment.

This was my exact experience as well. I was so sad that I never got it running, but maybe I'll fire up some OCR software and an emulator and finally get to play it. I remember pouring over the book and being so excited! It's mo

How so? Start of line “^”, then an “n”, then any word characters zero or more times (\w*), then a “g”, then the end of the line “$”. The surrounding slashes are convention for certain regex languages, and the last “i” turns on the case inse

Without touching on the rest of the article, can we please stop bashing on the use of two spaces after a full stop? It makes new sentences much more distinct. I've yet to see any convincing argument for single-spacing. Edit: I note t

Same camp here, with the exception of soundcloud - it has such a variety of user-generated content, as well as longer sets (multi-hour mixes, DJ sets, other long-form content) that you just can't find on other platforms.

Not just that - high end speakers are heavy because of the need to use thick, stiff and dense materials to eliminate resonance.
