99Designs seems to be almost entirely dynamic and likely changing all the time. Why is there a need for so many varnish servers? Why did you go with (slower) Varnish over nginx or gwan? There seems like alot of infrastructure in place for t

I am working on something that addresses this need exactly. Should have a product out very shortly, been working on it for a few months now as a side project.

Does Stripe let us take our data with us if we want to leave for another processor? If I build a recurring revenue business on Stripe, am I screwed if they hike up their fees by not being able to move the credit card #'s elsewhere?

I think that tagline is going to hurt them more than the "ha, these guys are cool" factor will help them.

Sorry, I completely disagree with this post, 100% First off, I want to say this right away- Its total bullshit that some user targeted you like this and you definitely have a right to get a subpoena for OKC to give you the users IP and to d

The attitude is fine and refreshing- But please, be able to back it up :) If you can, it makes it all worth while. If not, you come off in the wrong way.

That guy sure is cocky, considering his profile consists of run of the mill/average website designs. Half of his portfolio looks like it could be from templatemonster.

Definitely seems less like a auditor (I believe asking for some of that is flat out illegal) and more like a hacker posing as a auditor, trying to get passwords/creditcard #'s.

Looking at the graph, it looks to be a very, very small number. Look back a few weeks on the graph at what likely is a very small number- Maybe only 100 or so visit a day.

For threads created in less than 24 hours, why not only display comment scores for comments with over X points? Solves the issue of bickering back and forth but also lets comments which have significant votes get easily scanned. On threads

ARM's only advantage over x86 is power usage and licensing costs. In every other factor, x86 absolutely blows it away. Alot of the newer tech coming from intel is very, very sexy as well. ARM has its place and is making great strides. But I

I wonder how much of a decline in revenue it will have when its no longer owned/linked/shown on 37signals. I bet alot of the revenue comes from internal links and just being owned by 37s in the first place.
