My goodness, there's a lot of bat-sh*t-crazy wrongness in the comments, like almost all are directly and demonstrably wrong. Are they paid shills or real people actually that fact-free in other aspects of their life? But that's w

You make these as statements of plain fact. I suggest that the reality is way more subtle and complex than you allow for.

Feel free to contact me via my profile if you wish. I have been a solid user of SCCS and successors since SCCS became available out of the box on SunOS. The delget/deledit pessimistic model of SCCS (and RCS, and CVS?) were poor compare

I still have a few SCCS directories hanging around, back from the 90s-ish I think. RCS and CVS haven't left any trace in my system (they were work only, as was SourceSafe). And my live projects are SVN and git... Yep, here's the

If your bank replaces the card then often the recurring charges will be transferred automatically to the new card. (Equally, you often cannot cancel recurring charges to a card by simply cancelling the current card.)

Maybe part of the solution is to reduce rain/stop runoff that then overwhelms the sewage system. I understand that Thames Water may get powers to charge people (eg homeowners) a fee who have flouted regulations such as SuDS by making

Interesting. I normally have my main backup (USB-powered external spining rust) disconnected from my laptop, so I'll take today's backup and disconnect it as usual. We're not into EMP kV/m stuff here AFAIK!
