Just want to point out that your post make it sound like the tobacco-pibe shaped licorice is strong licorice. It is actually some of the mildest you can possibly make.

The fault is always with the parent that gives a child an iPad or iPhone. Don't blame your laziness on app stores. Children grow up fine (better?) without those devices anyway. We all did so far. Grow a pair.

This is just BS. Hiding a crime behind an NDA doesn't mean it should be illegal to tell about that crime.

No it does not. Sony isn't like Apple. I can freely buy things in / for PlayStation games with my credit card. Not so in iOS apps. There all payment goes through Apple, taking an additional 30% cut above the 30% cut of the app pri

It isn't a lie. Steam takes a cut too yes, but Apple takes a cut after that 30% you mention. You don't pay 30% to Steam from in-app purchases. No one except Apple force you to use its payment system and take an additional 30% cut

But if you live outside PRC and USA, who is the most likely (however unlikely) to kick down your door? I'd wager that in most of the world that would be the FBI or CIA. Maybe I'm reading the wrong news sites because I live far fro

I have the excact opposite experience. The closer you live, the more people protect their privacy sphere around them and more often avoid real connections with people they run into, like neighbors. After we moved from living close in the ci

If the OS is worth its salt it knows which media player is playing and lets you control it. I don't see how this could ever be a problem. It is no different than having two mediaplayers installed. I have never seen the wrong mediaplaye

We have had state-owned second-hand stores all my life here (Scandinavia). I don't see any difference to the one in the article. The city even picks up items at you home or you could deliver them at recycling and garbage disposal areas

I never pre-order games but I did with this even though I'm not sure it is really my kind of game. CDPR and GOG are basically the direct opposite of EA and Activision. Good vs. Evil. Worth supporting unlike pretty much anyone else.
