Interesting that most voters on the page believes that zero swap is a good thing. Taking a quick look at my own servers and desktop usage it fits perfectly in table 2, ie. the same as the authors and Fedora's recommendation. In what si

The thing is this isn't cheap Chinese gadgets. The main thing I see mentioned is that Huawei is years ahead. Being cheaper is just icing on the cake. Huawei use a lot more on R&D than the competition.

Two things I have seen mentioned from industry people: Huawei is a lot better in R&D (use more money than Apple) and getting some feature you want deployed is easier and faster. Secondly Huawei is not only cheaper but also higher qualit

Can they mitigate risks from US businesses too? They are the biggest risk if you go by facts and not rumors and propaganda after all.

How are they "fighting one dirty tactic with another"? Clearly they are saying that the whole thing isn't a problem at all! They are fighting for manifest v3 with dirty tactics if anything.

They don't state they are testing their own product as far as I can tell. Strike one. They use a domain that says nothing about them being one of the tested products authors. Strike two. The whole thing is totally biased, testing apple

Unless I can install a tiny core and decide myself what modules I need I'm not at all interested in a new Windows. Look at that huge list of services it installs (and often runs!). Bloaty McBloatface.

So Ghostery benchmarks and is the fastest? Fine. But Ghostery does not belong in that test at all. Of course it can be faster. It misses a lot of the most important features! Like custom lists. Totally an ad.

The only fix is to not have ICANN. They are the real crooks. Seeing how they fought KnujOn says it all. Besides, the internet should not be controlled by some American entity. Trump has enough big red buttons as it is. Decentralization!

Parental leave is paid. If they can't survive 6 months unpaid leave from a worker, then they got a problem. The system with paid leave works fine in all of Scandinavia so how could unpaid leave not.

I don't think unionization will do much good. American-style unions are more like the mafia than a "real union". Unions in places like Scandinavia is the only way to fix this in my opinion but doubtful that will ever happen.

New and better tools are finding bugs in old code, so it isn't really that more and more bugs get into new code: "But, your editor wondered, could we be doing more than we are? The response your editor got was, in essence, that t

When the list says Debian or Ubuntu it includes all software in Debian and Ubuntu. That includes software like Google Chrome, Firefox, Python, Ruby, etc. For example out of the 40 listed in 2019 in Debian 36(!) are Chrome bugs, not Debian b
