Replying to myself here but I reported the issue to Bing. If they don't fix this then not only are they serving inappropriate search suggestions but they also run the risk of a huge shitstorm. I'm amazed it haven't been fixed

You seem to misunderstand app permissions. A sideloaded app doesn't magically avoid the permission system. If you can steal passwords by installing an app via sideload then there's a huge hole in the security of iOS. You seem hell

If you read HN regularly you also know the app store has a huge share of scam apps that Apple has been made aware of multiple times and that perfectly legitimate apps gets removed for strange and suspect reasons (like because Apple is makin

I agree with this but must add that laws aren't made to force what the majority knows (or in this case doesn't know) down the throat of everyone. This is why we have people like Vestager to counter what Apple does.

I'm not sure that is "broken" but more like inappropriate. I read an article with a list of bad default results (as in with no filter bubble) that are way worse. Like searching for "tween" on bing shows auto suggest

That is you reading something in it I didn't write. The point is that a won war will utterly destroy the winner too. Sure, the looser wil loose. That isn't surprising and I didn't think it needed saying.

What is your point? That if the US wins a war with China then China looses by loosing? What is surprising in that? The point is that a war won by the US will destroy the winner too . Did you just downvote and comment without even reading

Isn't that arguing that MSM report what people want to know as opposed to people knowing what the MSM report? It's hard to know about something MSM doesn't report.

It doesn't really matter in the big picture. How would the US look in a month or six if we by war stopped all products from China today? The US would become unrecognisable. The economy would be so destroyed it would hardly be a victory

The US rarely starts wars with anyone who can hurt it. Even a conventional war with China would be extremely different than anything the US has seen since WW2 and in some ways this would be worse. Do you think the modern US has the stomach

In 50 years it's as likely to be China that can sanction the US into submission as the US can sanction China. IMO much more likely. The US (and everyone that follows their contain evil strategy) is shooting themselves in the foot.
