I don't think it's crazy at all. We (i.e. the US) use our SIGINT abilities to spy on allies all the time, or at least according to numerous books and leaks. With that said, I'm not sure that the US government considers China

I've been mining for about 4 years now (1btc/month and 35-40eth/month since March 2017), and this is the first time I've heard someone trying to say PoS would lead to MORE decentralization. To be fair, I don't regul

Thank you for your work! We need MORE information about what our government is doing at all levels, not less.

I'm not well versed in these things so excuse the stupid question, but is the 'code' that runs the chips somehow hard-wired into the chip essentially? I only know vaguely what FPGA's are from investing a little bit in Xi

Can bitcoin ASIC's (or ASIC's in general) be reprogrammed to do another task? I have always heard that they are only designed to do cryptographic hashing, but are they just fundamentally that way? Would programming them to do some

As a country, we are just BARELY getting to the point where people are willing to be public in their support of marijuana legalization. We have a long way to go before entheogens are legalized federally. But I think if there is any way to a

Before I glanced at the authors name, I knew this was Adam Curtis just from the writing style. Instantly reminded me of "Hypernormalisation" (which everyone should watch) and "The Power of Nightmares."

It depends a lot on your security classification too. If you are in a level 1 (federal system does levels, states do max, medium, or low) prison, with other short-timers and non-violent offenders for the most part, it's not as bad. Whe

Personally, what I like about it is that it steers me in different directions of learning. When a list like this is curated by the right person, it can help you weed through a lot of low-value content sites, with similar information.
