Right-click the tab bar, select "Bookmark all tabs", save them all to a new folder (name it after the current date or whatnot).

Would be interesting to see a benchmark between D's ctRegex and Rust's "regex!". IIRC, when ctRegex was announced, it beat all other contestants (including V8's JIT-ed REs) in the author's benchmarks. There wil

GetAsyncKeyState will not reflect input that is sent to an elevated window. So, it does not break UIPI.

Did I understand correctly that at 1:25, that video is demonstrating the introduction of "live window resizing"? I haven't been following Unity closely, but I thought this feature was present in OS GUIs since about 1997?

Note that you'll need a language capable of AOT compilation if you want to target consoles which only run signed code (or use an interpreter, which will be rather slow). JIT is not an option on those systems.

There was a talk at last year's D conference how Remedy Games have used D as their "scripting" language: http://dconf.org/talks/evans_1.html I wonder if some of the same points would apply here. The shor

I think this is a rather disproportionate "TL:DR;" and conclusion. Here is the offending line: > Ok, ok, I’m just a pervert and I love raping the D compiler. Yes, it is immature, but your comment makes it sound like the entire

I should note that this is a very old article (from 2006), before D had compile-time function execution. D was still around version 0.166. I suppose that only makes this project more impressive, although its techniques are obsolete compared

Seeing as how both Nimrod and D have invested into metaprogramming (and also "attempt a speed-elegance unification"), I think a comparison with D would be interesting. D doesn't have AST manipulation, though; the "parall

Watch the video in the article. At 0:48, they drag the titlebar as usual, even though there are menu entries directly under the mouse cursor. I guess they have replaced the "pull down" mouse gesture with initiating a window drag,

The standard git-gui and gitk tools, bundled with git, are much better than nothing, but at the same time not much to look at compared to some other GUIs. It's a shame that these tools have seen almost no considerable improvement in the las

Yes. D1 is pending deprecation at the end of this year. D2 uses a common runtime separated from the standard library, and you can use Phobos and Tango alongside each other. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D_(programming_language)#Histor...

Yes, there are way too many things hard-coded at the moment. I want to refactor all of it out into templates, config files and library code. There's apparently some interest of adopting some code into D's standard library, too.
