Keylogger I recall hearing about for the pre-release versions, but audio capture is new to me. Is there an article where I can read more about that?

I guess it would depend on whether you consider all circles to be spheres (or all spheres circles)?

It might help if you consider spheres as a surface . 3D spheres are a 2D surface wrapped into a 3D space, likewise, hyperspheres would be a 3D surface wrapped into a 4D space. There's no "infinite spheres on its surface", I

I generally agree with your point, Mozilla is very much the odd one out being a non-profit browser vendor, but that last line is just weird. MacOS is a product, not a company, and I don't think you can even buy it if you wanted, it jus

Back when I had an an "Optimus" laptop with that kind of setup, I had to use bumblebee/optirun/primus (I forget how the parts fit together) to launch programs that I wanted to use the dedicated card with. It worked a lit

That seems strange. Is there a law mandating that all image hosts allow recovering the exact original image? That seems... impractical for a lot of use cases.

The best way to start fixing a problem is to stop making things worse. LIDAR may or may not have an adverse impact on wildlife, but we should at least find out and see if there are simple ways to mitigate any possible side effects.

I think you're right that "not being tracked" should be the default, in so much as having an adblocker and blacklisting known trackers should be defaults. These are things that my user-agent should be doing automatically to

The problem, I think, is that sometimes the chemicals come first and other times the emotions come first. Both can lead to a self-reinforcing downward spiral, but trying to fix the wrong half is likely to be ineffective.

In my window manager I make heavy use of "focus-follows-mouse" behavior, but what I really want most of the time is "focus-follows-eye". Especially in multi-monitor situations, I could see this being really invisibly he

Good use of eye tracking could also allow for foveated rendering, drawing the out-of-focus areas with lower resolution and leaving more time to render the areas of interest.

I'm not familiar with DRAC, but if it's something added by an OEM wouldn't it have to be in the UEFI/BIOS layer or higher? AMT/ME and its ilk are a physical coprocessor built into the CPU, whether it's "en

I would argue that all software patents should include complete source code and build details necessary to compile a working version. Something like MP3 or h265 represent nontrivial investments in information theory, and I'm basically

These days XDG spec and most apps put things in ~/.config/, either as a single file or in their own subdirectory. It's easy to navigate and search, and apps can use whatever config format they want. I'd argue that'

The reason you would use this over RAM is persistence, it doesn't need to stay powered to keep the data. If all you need is a massive amount of temporary storage for some algorithm, you'll still need RAM, but if you want a stupidl
