The sad thing is that it's very likely that sjws will embark on some sort of crusade against her for not fitting into their worldview. Anyone who exists in a way counter to their ideology is marked an enemy to be destroyed in the most

I wanted a Lego Mindstorm kit so badly as a kid, but my parents never got me one. I think my life would have been a lot different if my home situation had at least afforded me that one thing.

How do you know he's a straight white male? Can you tell race, genitalia, and sexual orientation by typing style? Are you going to tell me to check my male privilege next?

I'm not a SWM and I think this stupid article has done a lot to damage the cause of equality. It is tactically, morally, and ethically stupid. I wish people would stop linking it, but sjws gonna sjw, I guess. Getting an angry response

As a minority, I would not be comfortable around a sjw. I've been told way too many times by sjws what it's really like to be [minority category X], when I am very clearly minority category X and they are not. I don't know

It does. Popular opinion is wrong. Only feminists believe that stuff, and their propaganda is everywhere, so a lot of normal people end up believing it too because the other side completely lacks political clout. Women are vastly more attra

I'm American and it took me until last year to learn that yogurt isn't sweet by default. 95% of the grocery store offerings are the sugary kind, and that's all I was ever exposed to as a kid, so I never noticed it. I spent ye

You...do realize Manhattan is an island, right? The boundary between Manhattan and not-Manhattan is pretty clearly delineated.

Yes, per bedroom per month. It's more like $1800-2400 for a 3br though, because those appear to be the most cost-efficient. Off the top of my head, I remember visiting one place that was a 2br for $900/person (including utilities)

No subsidy. Most of my non-wall street friends pay in the $600-800 range as well. Among this subset, the farthest one to the south is on 106th, and the farthest one north is on 160th. I'm 1/2 a block from the nearest A/C/

I don't know that I'd call CT or NJ safer or more liveable. Especially not to the point where it would justify such a long commute.
