Really interesting findings. There seems to be a lot of good health benefits from omega 3 and fish oil in general[1]. There is currently an interesting study underway in Norway with 70.000 participants to see if fish oil has an effect on co

Maybe this depends on what model you have, but on my LG TV you can long-press the number buttons on the remote and it creates a shortcut to the current selected input. Long press the same button again from anywhere, and you are taken there.

I use autocannon (1) because it is very high performance, and allows for advanced login flows etc. Very useful for load testing. Can generate a lot of traffic from one device. I also use sentry.io to monitory my performance in live environm

After reading this I can't stop thinking about a possible future where we have predicted all possible permutations of different diseases and created vaccines for them. Maybe our kids one day will get an all in one vaccine preventing al

Gatling is super slow. Suspicious slow in fact. You will likely not be able to really hit your endpoints hard enough by using one machine only. Personally I use autocannon which in my testing is faster than k6 and easier to use with a node.

Bitwarden is worthy of a peek. I enjoy it privately and have rolled it to the company I work in. We are not heavy users, but for basic password sharing and secrets management it is great. It might be great for more advanced use cases too, b

That is true, but then again, you can probably repair it 3 years down the line. Repairing a 3-year old Android is usually not as easy. Don't get me wrong, I am writing this on a Sony Android phone, which I expect to get 0 dollars for i

From the comments it does not look like necessary everyone is aware of this. You should have a look at things like adonisjs.com to get a better comparison. I am not saying node-based tech is better or worse, but to dismiss all nodejs server

You then pay somewhere around 175 to 260 usd per year for your phone. The newest iPhones are about $1000. From my experience, and from others, they last a very long time, and a 4 year cycle can be expected, as well as passing the phones on

Node.js is not equivalent of Rails. Rails is a framework, while Node.js is a runtime. Node.js is equivalent of MRI.
