I'm pretty excited about this subscription service. I don't have an extra $10k laying about to use for something like this but I would like to see how it works. I probably won't subscribe to it each and every month, but if I

Well, I guess that means the new-session-manager project has won out. If the NON stuff doesn't exist anywhere, then people / distros don't have much of a choice to include it.

I'm not sure that's a good justification for naming something the same as an existing project. What if someone forked Nginx or PostgreSQL and did the same thing? Would that be acceptable behavior?

My team is remote but we (used to) get together once a quarter and work in the same space for several days. The most productive part of the day was the walk to/from the office. The office was close to the hotel and had several coffee

In my city, the qualifications for being a LEO keep dropping. It used to be that you had to have some college credit hours, which degraded to completing high school, which degraded to at least a GED. Now, I think you just have to apply an

I just finished a couple of 500 mile drives in my Model Y and can confirm that Autopilot was wonderful. The lane keeping was great and the adaptive cruise control was outstanding! It was very relaxing being able to relax a bit while letti

On the subject of paying OSS projects, it makes me think that the idea of a part-time OSS "employee" might be a good one. Almost all businesses benefit from OSS but almost none of them pay back to the community. What if a busine

I concur. After a lifetime of Audi, Honda, and VW cars I can honestly say that my Model Y has made driving fun again. I actually look for reasons to drive now. If friends and I are going out, I'll offer to drive everyone. Need some

I agree on all points. I've had my Model Y since August and it's, hands down, the best car I've ever owned (or driven). I loved re-building and driving my Porsche 914 and my old VW Golf GTI was great. I had an Audi A4 Quat

Are you saying that it's possible to upgrade the CPU? If so, that would be game changing and would put the price point in a whole new light. I can imagine "upgrading" my computer to a faster processor like we do with RAM.

Possibly. I guess the "fastest" program I use on a daily basis is Sublime Text, which is native on multiple platforms. I never have a slowdown, even on very large files. It instantly responds to keyboard input, which is a must

I don't know about that. My plain white Model Y gets a LOT of attention from people of all ages, including the under 10 crowd. I've driven other, more flashy cars, and have never gotten as many "Oh look!" reactions in

I spent quite a bit of time in corporate America in the early 2000's and saw a lot of UML being thrown around. I don't think anyone actually used any of the diagrams, but they were certainly required by the "process". Fu
