Not sure where you take this "standard" from - AFAIR, it was mod_php since ~ 2004-2005 and all that lovely mpm_prefork stuff. FastCGI and FPM came a bit later. > should be using proxy_fcgi with Apache I'd in general use Ng

I've tried to do Wordpress benchmark under FrankenPHP and under Apache's Mod-PHP - I couldn't see evidence of winning for FPHP. Have not dug deep enough though and test was in Docker, not on normal setup. Wordpress was basica

For myself I wouldn't use Cygwin binaries in the way you describe, will prefer doing things in WSL instead. YMMV of course, just saying my prefs.

I like that "probably" for perfomant here, but let's focus on features so far. Let's imagine we go this way, implemented own self made webserver in nodejs, started using it and the next day it will be required to add sim

I hardly can imagine how it works for you, because WSL1 basically lacks any option for containers be it namespaces or cgroups? Netfilter? Bridges? Feel free to correct me and share successfull cases with wsl1 and containers

Bit unrelated question and please excuse me if it's going in a wrong way - any plans to have sort of multithread support in rsync? Being single thread limited is painfully slow. I'm concerned on data reads ( disks do much better b

Why it's the shame? Keep being relevant and satisfying users needs are reasons to be proud, not shamed. When Microsoft added WSL/WSL2 and collaborated with Canonical for smooth UX, is it a shame as well from your perspective?

from AWS/GCP/Azure/you_name_it's perspective, it may be worth to give that 90% discount extra, just to ensure 1. keep shrinking workforce being able to keep doing such kind of setups 2. avoid such writeups with _numbers_
