The UI inside the webview is written in Angular, everything else in C#. More on the stack and our initial issues can be read here: https://kreya.app/blog/how-we-built-kreya/#cross-platform-gu... (from 2021)

We are using system webviews for https://kreya.app (not Tauri, but a custom implementation) and the platform differences are seldom a problem... Polyfills fix most of the things and we are running automated end to end test on Li

I bought an Epson EcoTank five years ago and am very happy with it. The ink is dirt cheap. The only downside is that you have to print something every 2-3 months, otherwise the quality degrades noticeably for the next few printouts. But aft

Putting a closed-source application on Flathub is such a pain. Users of our app even request Flatpak support aggressively [0]. Yet uploading pre-built binaries, which is common for most package managers, isn't supported out of the box

I have an EcoTank and print infrequently, clogging has never been an issue. I once didn't print in half a year and it didn't clog. Printing quality goes down after not printing for a long time, but the automated "cleaning&quo

Yes, paw was (is?) a native macOS app. Kreya isn't based on Electron, but uses the native WebView of the OS.

Homebrew "support" (and other package managers) is planned. Telemetry is opt-out and anonymous. More about what is collected and how to disable here: https://kreya.app/docs/telemetry/

As one of the creators, I can recommmend https://kreya.app . It is not open source (like Postman), but has a strong focus on privacy and also stores the data locally. As it has more powerful features (IMO) than most alternatives
