As a computer science guy I did my own ELI5, found out how insertion sequences work, found the paper about HIV-1 and 2019-nCov, but it is true, it takes time to understand. Even without spending time my heuristics is that I find biases in t

This decarbonization business is not going well for us, nipping the low hanging fruits is progress, but it ain't gonna cut it. The problem is trying to be practical, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. The business must s

These super-resolution models certainly make the zoom and enchance television trope less ridiculous. By using generic out-of-band information certain missing details can be recreated.

That's too bad, but a living wage and universal health care should be the bare minimum. It's a broken system and people are restless. The usual propaganda about how this is communism and ruins businesses might not cut it this time

I think Don't Look Up has the cult classic potential, it did a great job conveying the helplessness and ridiculousness of the situation. I felt every bit of it, but then again I do often feel like being chained to a sinking ship with a

We used to have to deal with bent pins and bulky screws to keep the connector in place, so compared to that the USB paradox is a nice problem to have. What became more complicated is telling what should be plugged where, both USB and HDMI g

Don't Look Up meant to be condescending. It is more of a frustrated sigh than a sophisticated commentary. It's not the greatest comedy or drama there ever was, but it's portrayal of the zeitgeist is spot on, if uncomfortable.

No-code is a weird movement, coding is one of those things that don't require a fancy degree, or any education. You can learn it for free from books and websites. No-code tools are fairly limited as well, they don't give you a lot
