All parties have supported and encouraged this bill. There have been a few individuals in each party willing to question it, and improve it, but they have been more or less ignored by all sides.

Having been involved in this directly for 3 years, as a search company CEO and based in the UK, I would say some (if not all) big tech companies were broadly supportive of this bill. It is almost certain that regulatory compliance will fall
